mr fields

Dear Mr Fields your video has shocked myself and pupils in my school too.The attack was on a young girl and was not acceptable in school or anywhere. To think boys in london say, ‘ i want to move to America’ when things like this happen. The fact you think you were right is appalling and to charge a girl for your actions.

Imagine you had a daughter and she was assaulted by a police officer who was a male. im what way does violence help within a school. It gives the students a reason to fight, especially when an officer of the law decides to do it. Please enlighten me on why you thought this was right. The fact this had to be recorded to get any attention is shocking. This should not happen at all.

As a black male I have seen many people hurt or even killed for being coloured, which to me is very shocking. The fact a man wanted a cigarette and was shocked out by a officer, the fact a boy said ‘my hands are up don’t shoot’ and he shot anyways, shows how officers really feel about coloured people. I am not racist, yet these things continue to occur in life everyday, with other cultures and races too.

I have never seen a person be so harmed by a officer for simply not wanting to get up. Yes, she may have hit you first however, you’re a big man and it should not hurt if she hit you. You’re trained to deal with situations like this and could have, in fact should have dealt with the situation properly instead. Now you have all this drama and have been fired, so the fact you may have felt disrespected has cost you your job and worldwide hatred by people of every race.

I have never been handled like that by my mum or dad let alone a teacher or a police officer. You could have badly hurt this girl. Being a police officer you should understand that you will get disrespected all the time and that you cannot deal with silly situations such as this with such force. Next time it could be a man who wants to fight or has a weapon, and people will not care, as you were classed as a racist officer in the eyes of the people who saw the video. You should know it was a plot to act up. Many officers have fell for this and have ended up out of job. To think a officer put his gun into a mans hand who he had just tasered, to make it seem as if he had a weapon. This was caught on film and now you along with other officers are the most hated in USA and UK. Well done Mr Fields, what you have done has just blasted another revolution to show the harshness of racism towards black people in and out of places you should feel safe in.

I hope you realise your ‘right’ was a wrong.

yours sincerely, Xavi.

  1. I like the last line there, Xavi. Definitely an example of closing effectively. I need you to do a few things for me before I can award you the achievement.

    1) Can you check all spelling and expression in your piece. Is it all clear?
    2) ‘Dear Mr Fields’ needs to be separated from the rest of the piece
    3) Please link paragraph three into the current dilemma you are discussing.

There appear to be two different ideas here. One is that Fields did it because he was racist and two that he used too much force. You can link the fact that he used too much force to the fact he was racist. That needs to happen because there needs to be a single idea running throughout your letter!
